A Life of Two Halves
She was a mathematics and physics teacher. She was a mother. A wife. I never called her by her name. She was granny. That's it. That's who she was my whole life. From baby, to toddler, to teenager, to adult.

Everything is like it is, for a lot of reasons. Sometimes it's working just fine. It just happens to be the best way that works well. No better way has been found yet. But the secret is looking for the best way to do it in the first place. Or asking the question...why is it like this?

And that was it. That was the moment. Something in my brain just...locked in. I didn't have the language to communicate this at the time to anyone else, let alone even myself.
Tabletop
This is the great big passion of mine. It used to be video games. Those have largely fallen by the wayside in lieu of much more creative outlets. That is to say...tabletop roleplaying games.

It's my constant concern that I talk too much. Or that no one cares about what I have to say. But it's happened enough in that the recipients of my nonsense have told me that they like hearing what I have to say that I have no choice but to believe them. It's on me to make that choice, after all.
